"The Great Hat Heist" has just finished its tour of 28 UK cinemas with the British Animation Awards' 'People Choice' Award. The Awards evening is on the 13th March 2008.

Performance of work on 17th March 2008 at Preston Guild Hall. Interactive concert including a Bollywood dancer, African percussionists, 2,000 schoolchildren and the wonderful musicians from the Lancashire Sinfonietta

New commission from the School's Music Association www.schoolsmusic.org.uk to arrange "As We Grow" by Alan J Woods for brass quintet and children's voices. Arrangement to be recorded in March 2008 with a 1,000 strong children's choir to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Association.

Animation "Mr Haten Bugelperp and the Great Hat Heist" was awarded a 'Special Jury Award' at the Royal Television Society Student Awards (Yorkshire) on December 11th 2007. The film was described by the judges as "Outstanding - a Real Gem", and a full screening of the animation was given to the audience. www.rts.org.uk
